Amethyst
Women's Project is a non-profit, community-based organization
assisting primarily women and their children affected by the
disease of addiction and who are at high risk of exposure to
HIV infection or victims of domestic violence.
Goals
Amethyst
Women's Project provides intervention and referral services
to improve and strengthen the lives of addicted women and their
families.
Staffed by
caring and trained volunteers, Amethyst Women's Project reaches
out to those in need of drug treatment and rehabilitation services
and educates on HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and available treatment.
Once contact
has been established with the individual, their needs will
be assessed by a credentialed clinician that will make the
appropriate referrals to address their needs.
